In the movie, Robin is trying to call Bruce Wayne 'Dad', and after going through a long list of names, finally settles on 'Padre', which is Spanish for father. In response, Bruce calls Robin 'Hijo', which is spanish for Son. The call back is to a joke from season one around the Spanish word for Brother, 'Hermano.
