When Tobias thinks George Michael is gay, he says "Me thinks a cupid I shall play" and tries to set him up with Steve Holt. Some music is playing in the background and I'd like to find the full clip/nam of the piece. Here is a link to the clip
The house interior in the pilot was a 6,233-square-foot house at 23155 Dolorosa Street in Woodland Hills. It was built in 2002, shortly before Arrested Development, and looks much like the house exterior used on the series.
Briefly during this episode, while George Michael is wearing the muscle suit, there is a song playing with the lyrics "Ain't no big think, wow.' Any idea of the song and arist?!?
So, I was just rewatching some of the show for the hell of it, when I noticed a detail in this episode. I searched online about it, and couldn't seem to find anything.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that this is a portrait of Sitwell with Lucille 2, hanging in her apartment. Right?Did anyone else notice that the text on the building that Marta is shown to exit at the beginning of the episode translates to "forbidden love" (according to Google Translate)?
Tobias checked himself into prison during "Staff Infection", but appears in "Altar Egos" to offer George Michael an opportunity to pack his sweet pink mouth with ice cream. The next episode, "Justice Is Blind", has Tobias breaking into Maggie Lizer's house. Then, on "Missing Kitty", he's back in jail with George Sr.
Major continuity error that isn't really outlined in the "Notes" or "Goofs" sections of either episode except to say that "Staff Infection" should go before "Missing Kitty". But why it should isn't explained. The Tobias continuity issue is one major reason.
I think there's a goof in this episode.
Young Michael says to Lucille that Tracy won't marry him because he's been expelled from high school. But George Michael said in "Public Relations" that Michael and Tracy got married when Michael was a sophomore in college, and that Michael "had his whole Freshman year" and "girls at parties" that should have given him more than 4 women to have slept with by that point.
I freeze framed the article article that appears about GOB's escape from the prison, and the actual text of the article talks about the opening statements from a murder trial of a Bluth who who stabbed his wife to death. Kind of an odd thing for an easter egg, huh?
