There isn't a comments section in the article but the list of evidence for the 'Is Lindsey a True Bluth' Is all personality traits. Personality is based on nurture not nature. She acts like George, Luciele and all the others because she was raised by them. We all emulate the people around us, for example me and my stepbrother are autisitc and as a result my little sister, who isn't, has occasionally exibited simmilar behaviour.

It may be weird that my mind went to this but when I learnt about Lindsey's age in S3 (I only watched the show on netflix about a year or 2 ago) A bit of fridge horror emerged for me about Lindsey.
I don't know if the age of consent is 18 or 21 in California but if Lindsey belived herself to be 3 years younger than she was, and everyone else thinking it as well, isn't she likely to have commited staratory rape. If the age of consent is 18 then she reached it at age 15, and so any physical relationships she was in untill age 18 (actually 21) technically qualified as such, it's even worse if the age of consent is 21 because such relationships are far mor likely for 18 year olds than 15 year olds.
Again, I'm aware it's a weird thing to think of, but I dont know, I had to put it out there and see what people thought about it.
I was just thinking about Maeby in S4, and her extended tenure in the 12th grade, and it reminded me of Buster's entire extra year at the Milford Academy. DIspite constantly trying to be noticed, her parents don't even realize she has a full time job, is 2 different people (Surely), where she lives, she has a romantic relationship with her couston, etc.
I've been updating my Season Four time-line and I noticed something weird about GM and Maeby's ages. According to their marriage certificate in "Family Ties," GM was born September 23, 1990 and Maeby was born November 23, 1990. During the events of Cinco de Quatro 2012, GM tells the residents of Sudden Valley that he's 22 (which is almost correct) and Maeby tells Perfecto she's 23 (which is an unnecessary exaggeration). We can presume that GM just rounded off his age to be older, but with more than a year to her 23rd birthday, it just seems odd Maeby would uncessarily claim to be 23 when she's actually 21, four years older than Perfecto.
While rewatching I noticed a flashback in season 3 episode 7, "Prison Break-In", where the family is disscussing a 'cause' for their foundation. George Sr is reading the suggestions when he says "ovarian cancer, gee wonder who that was" as the camera shows Michael. I know they mention that she was in a coma before passing but this was the first time I ever noticed a disease related to her death.
I just watched this episode, but haven't seen the rest of the episodes of Season 4 yet. But I'm really hoping there's some sort of more satisfactory resolution to the DeBrie loose end at some point. I really hated that ending where she was basically destroyed, and it was fully and directly Tobias' fault for pushing her into something that she really didn't want to do or felt up to doing (did Tobias' conflict of interest act to DeBrie's detriment? Heck yeah!) I thought this episode was a new low for Tobias-- usually he's just a blissfully ignorant boob, but here he really should have known better just how badly he was harming DeBrie, and I thought her unfortunate fate was sad and quite unfunny. Too bad, really, because I thought their first episode together ("A New Start"), while not great, was a decent enough episode.
Is DeBrie's fate something that's supposed to be followed up on in the hypothetical fifth season? As noted, I haven't seen the final six episodes of the season yet but from a look on the "DeBrie" entry on this Wiki, it doesn't look like she shows up again this season.
Where does the birthdate March 3, 1990 come from? It's on Wikipedia too. I can't find an episode that mentions this date. The birthdate on his and Maeby's marriage certificate is different; it says November 2, 1990. Plus we see GM having his 16th birthday in season 3, Mr. F, and it's November.
Of course birthdate on the certificate contradicts the idea that Tracey was already pregnant when she married Michael in 1989. And GM said he was older than Maeby in "My Hand to God", so that also contradicts the marriage certificate. (But season 4 had Maeby older than GM.) It's really all confusing. Mainly I want to know where the March date cames from.
I've noticed that a recommended book to buy with Tobias' "The Man Inside Me" was "the low-card gay, bi and transgender diet by B.J.Zuckerkorn. Would that be Barry's? It does add up to his confusing sexuality.
In Senioritis, Donny Richter gives Maeby tacos and she comments, "Maybe I'll feel better with a little Mexican in me." Kind of sounds like a premonition of her relationship with Perfecto.
OK, this one just occured to me the other day. Why would G.O.B. be named George *Oscar* Bluth?
G.O.B. is the first child of George and Lucille. I can see why they gave him the name George, but why give him Oscar as a middle name? It could be that the father of George (Sr.) -- ie, G.O.B.'s grandfather -- is an "Oscar Bluth" that's never been mentioned.
Or... could it be that Oscar is perhaps the father of G.O.B.?
I can't imagine George (Sr.) wanting to honor his brother Oscar by giving G.O.B. the middle name of Oscar. I think it could only get in there if Lucille insisted on it, or if G.O.B.'s grandfather was named Oscar.
Thoughts?
I may be wrong, but I have not seen this mentioned before. In this interview: (http://bettyconfidential.com/ar/ld/a/Hungs-Thomas-Jane-Hates-Shoes.html) Tom Jane mentions that he came to California and he was homeless. Is this a coincidence, or another example of ADs brilliant casting and subtle jokes?
George Michael would have graduated from High School in 2007, assuming he was on a traditional age-grade track, making him 17 at the start of his senior year.
We hear George Sr. referring to his 14 year old grandson before hitting GOB, who had sent him to break into the permit office in season 1, Charity Drive. We also see him getting his driver's license towards the end of season 2, Sword of Destiny, making him 16 at that time.
According to the timeline, his graduation party takes place in 2006, and even with the 2 years in Spain he would have been a 6th year senior in 2012.
Please tell me who is that hot dude on that prison picture. If you open those 105 or something pictures of smashed, in the fifth picture you'll see very sexy man (that white one without moustache) staring at Tobias. Who is he in real life???
I think I've heard it on Black HAwk Down too, maybe.
Unfortunately we can't expect him back in future seasons, episodes, or movie. Actor Steve Ryan passed away back in 2007 when you left the door open with the air conditioning on.
The only dialouge from the episode where Lindsay's adoption is revealed stats that the Bluths adopted her before the Sitwells could. Not that they adopted her FROM the Sitwells. That wouldn't even be possible, if Lindsay was their biological child, she would only have been available for adoption if the Sitweells put her up as such, but why would they do this if they would then also try and adopt her back? Doesn't make sense. Lindsay is in no way biologically related to the Sitwells or the Bluths. (Pending any crazy revalations in the new season.) I am going to update the pages to reflect this.
Arrested Development has many actors who appear as themselves. I'd like to come up with a more consistent, clear way to provide information on both the character they're portraying and the real world actor.
I know I don't want disambiguation pages, and I'd prefer to keep it all on one article.
My current idea is seen on the Ron Howard article. Thoughts?
Since we appear to know her full name now, it would probably make sense to rename her fully to Alana Veal from Mrs. Veal around the wiki?
There seem to be conflicting sources about whether he is Larry Middleman or Mittleman. The former makes more sense in context, but the op has him down as Mittleman.
