Judy was born in Detroit in 1974 and continued to live in Michigan until she moved to Illinois for college. She graduated from The Theatre School at DePaul University in 1997. That same year she appeared in her first episode of television, a minor guest character on an episode of Early Edition. Since then, Judy has appeared in over 80 productions as a character actress.
Her television credits include a main billing on the series Archer alongside Jessica Walter, recurring characters in Two and a Half Men, Glenn Martin DDS, Halloween and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia; and leads in the short-lived series Love & Money, Love Monkey, and Miss Guided.
Her film credits include a string of romantic comedies such as 27 Dresses, Love and Other Drugs, 13 Going on 30, and Love Happens. She can also be seen in the films The Descendants, Jeff Who Lives at Home, and The Village.
