Peter Lauer is an American director who has directed three episodes of Arrested Development.


Peter got his start in directing by directing the music videos. His filmography includes "Run's House" for Run-DMC and "It Takes Two" for Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock.

Lauer began directing for television with an episode of The Adventures of Pete & Pete. He has since directed over fifty TV series or movies. His notable work includes Strangers with Candy, Chuck, and Malcolm in the Middle.

Peter also directed the semi-controversial film Cry Baby Lane for Nickelodeon which was pulled from their schedules for 10 years for being too frightening.
