About
The Opie Awards are an annual awards ceremony that honors the best of the children entertainment industry. The awards (and the trophy) are named after Opie Taylor, the child character from The Andy Griffith Show portrayed by a young Ron Howard.

- Maeby received a Lifetime Achievement Opie Award for her work as a movie executive at Tantamount Studios. She thought it was a true honor but later learned that the Lifetime Achievement award was only given to people whose careers had died. She ranted at the podium and ran off with her award. (4x12 — "Señoritis")
- G.O.B. went to the Opie Awards to support Mark Cherry, and decided to sabotage Tony Wonder's Escape from the Closet illusion. Instead, he unwittingly trapped Marky Bark in Herbert Love's podium instead. (4x7 — "Colony Collapse")
